About Craigieburn Cottages

Craigieburn Cottages is situated 300 metres off the New England Highway at Glen Innes. Located on 40 acres of natural bushland, Craigieburn is mostly known and remembered for its spectacular, huge granite boulders and outcrops formed approximately 250 million years ago. Constant weathering has created these wonderful, smooth boulders encrusted with moss and lichens. Flowing in amongst some of these boulders is a natural spring-fed stream called Rocky Ponds.
If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing place to stay overnight or for a few days, Craigieburn Cottages is ideal with its beautiful, soothing surroundings. Our accommodation consists of cottages, units and a lovely 70 year old Chapel. Craigieburn also has powered sites (drive through) and campsites, providing plenty of room and privacy.
Heritage- listed national parks, wilderness areas, national parks, gemstone fossicking and inland fishing areas are within an easy half hour drive from Craigieburn Cottages.
Shops, supermarkets, coffee shops, hotels and restaurants are only a few minutes drive from Craigieburn Cottages so even though you feel as though you are away from it all, these services are conveniently close-by.
Refreshingly mild summers with no humidity, beautiful floral springs, magnificent golden autumns and bracing, sometimes snowy winters, make Craigieburn Cottages an enjoyable place to stay at any time of the year.
Your hosts at Craigieburn Cottages are Helen and Robin Newsham
